The Fulton County School Calendar is a yearly project that helps the school system keep track of important dates and events. The calendar is divided into two sections, the first being the Academic Calendar and the second being the holidays calendar..
Each month has five days and each day has a specific purpose. For example, Monday has been designated as Mathematics Day, Wednesday is for Science, Friday is for English Language Arts/Writing, and Saturday is for Physical Education. There are also special days like Presidents’ Day or Good Friday which are not included in the regular daily schedule.
The Academic Calendar contains deadlines for various tests and assignments as well as important dates like Spring Break and Summer vacation.
Fulton County Schools provide a variety of facilities and services to its students. The district has more than 100 buildings, which include schools, administrative offices, and support facilities. Fulton County Schools also has a fleet of more than 1,000 buses that serve more than 10,000 students each day.
Fulton School Academic Calendar (2022-2023)
The Fulton County School District has released their Academic Calendar for the 2022-2023 school year. The following topics will be covered in each of the eight grades: English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education/Health, Technology/Internet Use and Fine Arts.
Moreover, subjects will also be divided into three skill levels: Basic Skills (Grades 4-8), Intermediate Skills (Grades 9-12) and Advanced Skills (Grades 11 and 12). Students are required to complete 22 units of coursework over a two-year period in order to graduate from high school.
Further, Each semester begins on Thursday and ends on Wednesday. Each week has five days with four sessions Monday through Thursday. Fridays are half days which allow students more time for homework and weekend activities.
